In ‘Workshop: Introduction To Woodworking’ I learned how to safely use all the machines in the wood shop, how to mill wood, and how to utilize dados and a variety of joins. This tool box is made from a pile of Alder, some plywood, and some glue.
Here is the sides being fitted together for the first time. You can see the two sets of dados. One is for the bottom of the box and one is for the handle.
A close up of the finger joins that make up the corners of the box.
The handle was cut to within 1/16” of the measured size. I was proud of the small amount of sanding I needed to do to get a perfect fit.

So many clamps. So little glue.
The final product! Smooth and sanded to perfection. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
